Arsha Vidya Vahini announces the commencement of 54-day Sri Mahabharata Jnana Yagnam by Pujya Acharya Vachaspati Sri Prem Siddharth ji
The year 2020 marks the fifth year of the Project Mahabharata. Beginning from 2016, Pujya Acharya Swamiji delivered discourses annually on this holy magnum opus. Until now, a total of 206 discourses unravel the teachings on Adi Parva, Sabha Parva and a part of Vana Parva and establish the declaration “Yannehasti Na Tat Kvachit” – “What is not here is nowhere else”. In the Mahabharata Jnana Yagna last year, Pujya Swamiji highlighted the intricacies of Karma Yoga and Dharma that were interweaved in the episode of Dharma Vyadha Gita where a Butcher instructs a Brahmana on Dharma.
This year commences with further elaboration of this glorious episode of Mahabharata that stands testimony to the fact that the Hindu Culture upholds Virtue and Knowledge and that nobility is not decided by birth alone.
The magnum opus Sri Mahabharata of Sage Vyasa of 1,00,000 verses is an exhaustive study and presentation of the entire Veda Shastra, its intricacies, the pathos & ethos of human psyche and how destiny is intricately linked to all of the above.
